Christiane Northrup, M.D., visionary pioneer in women’s health, is a board-certified OB/GYN with more than thirty years of clinical experience, former assistant clinical professor of OB/GYN at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, and three-time New York Times bestselling author of Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom, The Wisdom of Menopause and Goddesses Never Age. In 2013, Reader’s Digest named Dr. Northrup one of the “100 Most Trusted People in America.” In 2016, she was named one of Oprah Winfrey’s Super Soul 100, a group of leaders who are using their voices and talent to awaken humanity. And in 2020, 2021 & 2022, she was included in the Watkins Spiritual 100, a list of living people that make a unique and spiritual contribution on a global scale.

Internationally known for her empowering approach, Dr. Northrup embraces medicine that acknowledges the unity of mind, body, emotions, and spirit, and teaches women to create health by tuning into their inner wisdom. After decades spent transforming women’s understanding of their sacred bodies and processes, Dr. Northrup now teaches women to thrive at every stage of life.

As a business owner, physician, former surgeon, mother, writer, speaker, and, according to Miriam Ava Ph.D., a “rebel, rock star and authority on what can go right with the female body,” Dr. Northrup acknowledges our individual and collective capacity for growth, freedom, joy, and balance.

Dr. Northrup has also hosted eight highly successful public-television specials, and her work has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, the Today Show, NBC Nightly News, The View, Rachael Ray, Good Morning America, 20/20, and The Dr. Oz Show, among many others. Since March 2020, Dr Northrup has worked on the front lines of medical freedom which her colleague Kevin Jenkins, CEO of Urban Global Health, refers to as the “civil rights movement of the 21st century.”

FarmTales - They Grow Up So Fast

We have our daily routine down…well, almost. Every morning we pick up the geese from the “hatch coop” and take them out to the pasture.

Every morning they get so excited that they miss the gate…
When they finally find their way, they can’t wait for their morning hygiene.

And we watch them - every single day. It’s just too much fun and they grow up so fast;-)

FarmTales - New Arrivals on Big Bear

Who let the goose lose?
We finally found some geese - apparently August is usually too late - and picked them up yesterday.

3 goslings whose genders we don’t know yet. I named one of them Mathilda, not sure about the rest yet.

Kristin as you can see is only mildly excited about their arrival😂

If I remember correctly, the geese as protectors for the chickens, were BoinIdaho’s suggestion - THANK YOU!

Another adventure begins on Big Bear!

Wouldn’t You Agree?

When it’s 93 degrees in the shade and 165% humidity - your average Tennessee July day - the most logical conclusion is “it’s time to make firewood”, wouldn’t you agree?

So we made our way out to our friend’s ranch and got the party started.

It’s one of our favorite “chores” because we know winter is coming and nothing beats sitting in front of the fireplace listening to crackling wood.

Most of what we cut up won’t be seasoned until a year from now but we tend to plan ahead a little;-)

We will however wait for the weather to cool down before continuing these non-urgent chores…it’s been quite brutal;-)

Little Buddy

This little guy literally lives on our porch. Very calm fella too, not very chatty. Sometimes he’ll make a surprise appearance and jump out of some corner.
But mostly he just hangs out;-)

I just found this article on shungite. It's an awesome stone that has many uses in addition to purifying water! Thank you mother earth! Have a wonderful day! 🤗🙏💜🌈

SUNDAY SERMON - Who We Are Determines What We See

Friends,

it's always quite interesting to see how one and the same piece of information/video/article can cause an incredibly variety of reactions. From "blessed and inspired" to "this is fear mongering of the worst kind".

They saw the same piece on information delivered/written by the same person. So is it the information itself or is it something else that determines how we react?

Kristin and I talk about it in today's Sunday Sermon right here 👇🏽

Much Love & Many Blessings,
Jean & Kristin
