Time to say goodbye to Billy, he has spread enough DNA on Big Bear Farm.

Thankfully, Billy is going to a wonderful home we know very well where he will be free to spread more of his DNA;-)

Kiara and her husband AJ are spending the weekend and we hung out with the animals until it got too cold.

Typical for Tennessee we left the house dressed for a certain temperature when only 30 minutes later the temperature had decided it’s winter again.

It was also determined that 2 of the newest 3 kids are boys - we named them Howard and Richard.

Which gives us around 5 months to build a new fence and separate them from the girls or it will be Billy Bob all over again.

Lots of projects on the horizon in the next few days…well, after the next few days, as soon as it gets warmer.

I have always loved horses. I would tell all the neighborhood kids that I would have my own house well before I had a driver's license or car. My elementary school classmate, Elise Dadaian would run home from school minutes upon our imaginary mounts, wind in our hair. I learned to ride and care for Bud, a 17 hand sample grey gleding when I was 9 years old. Our family friends in Malibu lived on Point Dume on a couple of acres and had a few horses. It was one of my favorite times of my childhood to be able to spend days at their place, connecting with the horses and riding on the beach or in the mountains, with Barbara, who was my age. I was in love with the Equine.

I've never owned my own horse but they've been in my heart since I was a wee little girl and when I got involved in the so-called RV (the reevaluation of currencies) & started to build a humanitarian project, a large part of my project incorporated equine therapy.
