We usually don’t eat bread but since my parents are visiting bread is a necessity…like air or water😉
This is a simple sourdough recipe - water, Italian Caputo flour (00), yeast, salt and a little bit of olive oil.
I let it rest and rise a little longer than recommended…sometimes even overnight. It tastes a little fermented which everyone really likes.
If I keep posting bread recipes after my parents leave, please remind me that we don’t eat bread😄
Will we make it back to civilization? The bigger question is - do we want to?

it's time for another Sunday Sermon:-)
One of the most common things that Kristin & I would repeat over and over again during our retreats is the phrase, "give yourself permission" or "allow yourself...".
Why? Because for anything new, different or better to unfold we need to first give ourselves permission. Life is a journey, not a destination. The interesting this is, how the world around us reflects our own decisions...in quite a big way:-)
