This morning one of the 🐐 got stuck in the fence and it turned into a whole rescue mission with some important lessons and realizations…Never a dull moment here on the Big Bear Farm.
Whether it’s children or dogs, one of the most important things is to always make sure they are TIRED at the end of the day…😉
It’s been an exciting week on the farm. We’re starting to see some eggs…Kristin may or may not have talked about fried chicken in the coop the night before😉
It’s really the little things that stand out. Beautiful butterflies, hummingbirds, and the land gently embracing us like we embrace it.
Kristin got started on the garden, a smaller version for now, but we will at least double or triple the size of it in late winter.

Story of an old chair ~
Many years ago I bought an old chair from an antique dealer in Denmark. It's my favourite chair. Old, rugged and with a patina telling a story of many years of use. Yesterday I noticed something I'v never been aware of before, something sticking out from beneath the leather. A coin. It made me curious. I managed to get it out and then another fell out. I noticed there are plenty more inside, you can almost see them when you know they're there. I wonder - what's the symbolizm in this? They are Danish coins (so not valid here i Norway). What do you think, should I leave them in there, knowing I might be sitting in a gold mine? Like - just enjoy lifes hidden treasures..? 😂

it's always quite interesting to see how one and the same piece of information/video/article can cause an incredibly variety of reactions. From "blessed and inspired" to "this is fear mongering of the worst kind".
They saw the same piece on information delivered/written by the same person. So is it the information itself or is it something else that determines how we react?
