After almost two weeks, I'm back at Locals Inspired for the first time. On July 20, I had a bike accident and underwent surgery at the surgical clinic to repair my broken and depressed tibial plateau, which was pinned together and propped up.

I asked myself: did I subconsciously want this, to finally have some peace after a year of hard work, or was it more like something else was controlling me, like some energy that got in because I was stressed out over the past few weeks, without me really noticing it. Exciting things have been happening, especially since the retreat, and I am trying to stick with “my sentence” for the 90 days. Whenever something goes in a different direction, a miraculous and constructive ‘correction’ comes promptly. What helps enormously with bone healing: power breathing three times a day for 15 minutes and C60. The doctors wanted to force me to take daily thrombosis prophylaxis with porcine heparin injections. I refused and was declared irresponsible. I also have no painkillers except for the local anesthetic. I had the anesthetic turned off after the operation. It worked, and when my leg came back to me, it was an experience to realize how powerful physical pain is and that it can be breathed through and out. It's great that this community exists with all the good information and experiences of others—thank you!

Wow. BASILMANIA 🌿

In all my years I have never seen basil grow this tall with such big leaves.
There’s a lot of pesto and tomato salad in our near future;-)

SUNDAY SERMON - Who We Are Determines What We See

Friends,

it's always quite interesting to see how one and the same piece of information/video/article can cause an incredibly variety of reactions. From "blessed and inspired" to "this is fear mongering of the worst kind".

They saw the same piece on information delivered/written by the same person. So is it the information itself or is it something else that determines how we react?

Kristin and I talk about it in today's Sunday Sermon right here 👇🏽

Much Love & Many Blessings,
Jean & Kristin

It's actually a very important one to ask, but most don't realize how powerful the real answer is.
