FUN STORY from last week - I got pulled over by a town cop for being out of inspection . . . . . . . since 01. The officer told me he pulled me over because of it. I TOLD HIM THE TRUTH - Vehicle inspection is extortion. He tried to say "it's the law". I once again gave 'em the truth. I don't have money for extortion and inspection does not keep people safe, it just makes money. I received no fine, no paperwork, nuthin. I did however make a trip to the station with a new insurance card. 😅I had shown 'em an old outdated one n he asked that I bring an updated one to his station the next day. As I let the officer get a taste of weaponized truth I watched him consider what I told 'em. He could not deny it AND began thinking about just what purpose he serves. Said officer WANTS to be a peacekeeper n not an asshole policing for profit n I took opportunity ta make sure he knows the difference. Now he does. To his benefit and others as well. 😅 n perhaps wit this lil tale y'all will get what I mean when I say roadway deconstruction/construction is just what I do for money n exercise. The story I mentioned, is an example of my REAL job. Part of it anyhow. 😆I'm always "in-service", doin the thing.

Friends, an exciting new journey is beginning for the Nolans.
We moved and landed on a beautiful piece of land - still in Tennessee, just a little farther out from where we used to be.
We are absolutely elated and it is a dream come true. We are also exhausted. Most Americans will know the moving company 'Two guys and a truck'. They're awesome...at least that's what other people say. We wouldn't know. Noah convinced us that it's unnecessary and we can do it ourselves. We love the boy, we just don't like him that much right now😂
While we were getting aquatinted with the land and the animals, Kristin had a brilliant idea - she said, "let's do a special video series for our tribe on Locals that is all about the farm, the gardens, the animals...that way they can be part of the journey", and that's how FarmTales was born.
This is the first official and very short video. There is (much) more to come. We will share the good, the better, the best and in the unlikely event that not everything ...

it's always quite interesting to see how one and the same piece of information/video/article can cause an incredibly variety of reactions. From "blessed and inspired" to "this is fear mongering of the worst kind".
They saw the same piece on information delivered/written by the same person. So is it the information itself or is it something else that determines how we react?
