First night with frost last night, so harvested all the carrots today. Testing out ways to store in the cellar through the winter, this year between layers of moss (white moss has antiseptic properties but didn't find it around here so will try with this). Last year I stored in soil, not entirely successful. Don't have sand to store in, so crossing my fingers that this moss will do. Old fashoined, natural way.

Whether it’s children or dogs, one of the most important things is to always make sure they are TIRED at the end of the day…😉
It’s been an exciting week on the farm. We’re starting to see some eggs…Kristin may or may not have talked about fried chicken in the coop the night before😉
It’s really the little things that stand out. Beautiful butterflies, hummingbirds, and the land gently embracing us like we embrace it.
Kristin got started on the garden, a smaller version for now, but we will at least double or triple the size of it in late winter.

it's always quite interesting to see how one and the same piece of information/video/article can cause an incredibly variety of reactions. From "blessed and inspired" to "this is fear mongering of the worst kind".
They saw the same piece on information delivered/written by the same person. So is it the information itself or is it something else that determines how we react?
