In a world full of chaos, distractions and the next big news on the horizon it’s easy to forget being in the moment. Being truly present mind, body and spirit. These beautiful animals have shown us so much and one of the main reminders/lessons they thought us is to be present and thankful for all that is life.

When it’s 93 degrees in the shade and 165% humidity - your average Tennessee July day - the most logical conclusion is “it’s time to make firewood”, wouldn’t you agree?
So we made our way out to our friend’s ranch and got the party started.
It’s one of our favorite “chores” because we know winter is coming and nothing beats sitting in front of the fireplace listening to crackling wood.
Most of what we cut up won’t be seasoned until a year from now but we tend to plan ahead a little;-)
We will however wait for the weather to cool down before continuing these non-urgent chores…it’s been quite brutal;-)

it's always quite interesting to see how one and the same piece of information/video/article can cause an incredibly variety of reactions. From "blessed and inspired" to "this is fear mongering of the worst kind".
They saw the same piece on information delivered/written by the same person. So is it the information itself or is it something else that determines how we react?
