Where there’s a will, and Noah’s covered garden beds, and Christmas lights inside of them to create warmth, and blankets on top to keep it in there…there’s a small harvest in December;-)

Good morning Inspired Tribe! Let me introduce you to a client of sorts. Not in the conventional sense, but as a steward for the more free spirited as well as the domestic. This is a javelina. They're indigenous to Arizona. They're a variety of boar, although they look similar to a pig. I see them as a fairly peaceful sort. There are those that believe they're ferocious. I disagree. Food driven, yes - they get pretty snarling and snarky with each other when there's food around. Of course, as with any wild species, don't mess with their young. Their inner warrior will come out in a heartbeat and take care of business. Their young are about the size of an American football. While the adults get snarly and snarky, in amongst the adult bickering, they make the cutest little squeak, that it melts your heart 🥰 Although it's not the official word for their babies, I call them javalinalettes 😀 If you've ever heard the phrase "when pigs fly" it means never a possibility....
