I just picked rapsberries at my niece's place & jam is incoming. The other 2 photos are the strawberries I picked at a small, no spray, U-Pick farm just down the road called Lunceford Family Farms.. I made 2 batches of jam 🍓 😋
The owners of the farm once raised black Angus on site, but now only operate the U-Pick. A number of the old barns and farm house are still standing which harken one back to a slower time pre-Big Farms run by robots.
Why am I siting this? Because literally all the property around this farm has been or is in the process of being developed with condos, apartment high-rises and track homes. And so, I am more than happy to support my local farmer and encourage others to do likewise. Unfortunately, I do not have the room to grow all the veggies & fruitI will eat... Plus, their sweet 🌽corn in late summer is the best I've ever had. They also have a U-Pick pumpkin patch in the fall.

it's always quite interesting to see how one and the same piece of information/video/article can cause an incredibly variety of reactions. From "blessed and inspired" to "this is fear mongering of the worst kind".
They saw the same piece on information delivered/written by the same person. So is it the information itself or is it something else that determines how we react?
